x is a horizontal position from 0 to 1. Speed is pixels/second. A count creates a simultaneous formation spaced by 0.04, clamped at the edges.

Markers show straight-down motion. This is a timing preview: no collisions, combat, path following or enemy AI. Map IDs to your own scenes in Godot.

From JSON to a running Godot scene

The optional example project includes the scheduler, three editable wave files, geometric placeholder scenes and installation notes. Connect spawn_requested to your own scenes; pause, cancel and restart are included.

Scope & license

Godot 4.5 stable, Compatibility renderer. The scheduler finishes when the timeline finishes, not when enemies are defeated. Up to 256 rows, 1,024 spawns and 180 seconds per wave.

JSON exports are yours to use. No files are uploaded. AI-assisted implementation by NebulaKit; synthetic examples, no third-party artwork.
